MXW8X Desktop Based Gooseneck Transmitter
The MXW8X is a desktop base transmitter compatible with the Microflex® Wireless neXt system. With a stylish, compact design it complements any conference setting. The MXW8X accepts Microflex modular gooseneck microphones available in multiple lengths with polar pattern and LED options. All MXW neXt transmitters deliver pristine audio quality, reliable wireless performance, encrypted transmission, and advanced rechargeability for conferencing and presentation applications.

- MXW8X features a stylish, contoured design and minimal footprint, complementing any conference setting.
- Six-pin modular connector: Compatible with Microflex MX405, MX410, and MX415 gooseneck microphones.
- High resolution matrix display: Giving accurate run-time information such as remaining battery run-time, remaining time to full charge, quality of RF connection, system alerts such as approaching out of RF range, but also user editable component details such as mic name and name of access point the mic is linked to.
- Concealed power switch: Prevents accidental powering off.
- Bi-directional wireless: Enables return channel audio and real-time remote control of all wireless microphone settings, including light ring indication.
- Earphone output via USB-C port: Listen to audio from a return channel for translation, cueing, or program material.
- Programmable mute button: Control individual mic, all mics, or remote muting with push-to-talk, push-to-mute, momentary or toggle functionality; or control mics and indicators remotely from external equipment.
- Encrypted wireless: AES-256 encryption ensures meeting audio stays private.
- Wide working range: Reliable wireless coverage extends up to 160 feet (50 meters).
- Out-of-range alert: Emits beeping sound to alert user when range limit is exceeded.
- Easy wireless linking: Assign the microphone to an access point by simply docking it in a networked charging station and pressing “Link”.
- Advanced lithium-ion batteries: Smart lithium-ion internal batteries provide up to 39 hours of continuous use, charge fully in 4 hours, and enable remote monitoring over the network of remaining runtime and charge status in hours and minutes.
- Low-battery LED: Visually alerts when there are 30 minutes of charge remaining.
- USB charging: Connects to any standard USB power source for “always on” usage. Charge time using SBC-USB adapter: <3.5 hours while mic is in use.
